20th August 2004 Windsurfing: Treco Bay , Porthcawl Wind Direction: nw Wind Stength: 18mph Surf / Sea State: small waves/some swell Air Temperature: ok Sea Temperature: ok Weather: overcast/sun spells Max Speed: Distance Covered: Nice afternoon sesion 2.30-6pm with few of the lads out , some nice waves later on in aft as tide came in , with a bit of down the line riding to be had , wind was a bit up /down but ample for me 5.3m . Bit of a disasted day for big Mat as he got caught in the rip on the point at Newton end and it draged him around prety quick , he was in a bit of a panic so ditched his rig(silly boy ) .well more precisly he tied it to the yellow can in the middle on Newton bay , so looks like an early morning for mat if he.s going to retrieve it . |
